Aardonyx

Aardonyx was a large, heavily built ornithopod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. It possessed a unique bony shield on its chest, a feature not seen in other herbivores of its time. Scientists believe this shield may have been used for defense or display, making Aardonyx a surprisingly complex dinosaur.
