The Eustreptospondylus was a small, carnivorous dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period. It possessed a distinctive, heavily armored head with large, backward-facing horns, likely used for defense and intraspecies combat. Fossil remains suggest it was a relatively short-lived species, possibly evolving rapidly to fill a specific ecological niche.
