Gray Whale

Gray whales are large baleen whales known for their distinctive mottled gray skin and acrobatic breaches. They undertake incredible migrations between Arctic feeding grounds and warmer breeding waters off California and Baja California. These gentle giants primarily feed on small crustaceans and are a critically endangered species.
