Hector’S Dolphin

Hector’s dolphin is a critically endangered deep-water dolphin found only in the fjords of southwestern New Zealand. These dolphins are smaller than other common dolphins and have a distinctive rounded head. Conservation efforts are focused on protecting their limited habitat and reducing threats from fishing and boat traffic.
