Lac Alaotra Bamboo Lemur

The Lac Alaotra Bamboo Lemur is a critically endangered primate found exclusively on the lake shore of Lake Alaotra in Madagascar. This unique species is adapted to a semi-aquatic lifestyle, spending much of its time in the water foraging for vegetation.
