Mononykus

Mononykus is a bizarre herbivore from the Late Cretaceous period, notable for its massive, single thumb. This enormous thumb, significantly larger than its hand, is believed to have been used for defense against predators, possibly delivering powerful blows. Its stocky build and relatively small head suggest a robust animal adapted to a harsh environment.
