Ossabaw Island Swine are a distinct breed of domestic pig originating from the barrier islands off the coast of Georgia. Known for their unique, long, loose skin and distinctive appearance, they are the only pig breed native to the United States. These hardy animals have adapted to a semi-feral existence on the island for centuries.
