Protoceratops

The Protoceratops was one of the earliest known ceratopsian dinosaurs, living during the Late Cretaceous period. This small, horned dinosaur possessed a prominent brow horn and smaller horns above its eyes, likely used for display and defense. It’s considered a key ancestor to the larger, more elaborate ceratopsians like Triceratops.
