Sinosauropteryx

Sinosauropteryx was a small, feathered dinosaur from China dating back to the Early Cretaceous period. It is known for possessing some of the earliest fossil evidence of feathers, suggesting that feathers evolved before they were used for flight. Scientists believe these feathers were likely used for insulation rather than aerodynamic purposes.
