Windowpane Flounder

The Windowpane Flounder is a strikingly pale, almost translucent flatfish with a delicate, oval body. Its mottled gray and white coloration provides excellent camouflage on the sandy ocean floor. These bottom-dwelling fish are typically found in temperate coastal waters across the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
